Our weekly Worship Service is held Sunday morning, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Sanctuary.

Our Children's Sunday School meets in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 a.m.

   Children's Sermon..

Our Children's Sermon is a part of our Morning Worship Service following after the "Informal Time."

 Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Barry Philips' leads the study and discussion of  "THIS WE BELIEVE,  Presbyterian Beliefs."

Sunday, Oct. 1st: The Lord's

 Supper will be observed during the worship service.

Wednesday, Oct. 4th. at 10:00 a.m. the Morning Ladies Group will meet at the church.

Wednesday, Oct. 11th:  Monthly Wednesday Together.  Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with dinner followed with a worship service with Lord's Supper.  Then adult and adolescent  study groups.

Tuesday, Oct. 17th:  The Shelby Friend Evening Ladies Group will meet at the church at 6:00 p.m..

If you are interested, please see Bill (our director) and join us for a very rewarding and joyful time.

Our rehearsals are held in the Sanctuary after the Worship  Service.

Sunday Flowers...  

"Thanks'' to all who have provided flowers for the sanctuary recently.  Opportunities are open on the Flower Calendar which is posted on the wall in the narthex.  Check it out and see if there is a date that you may wish to place flowers in honor or memory of your loved ones.  "To the glory of God."

 Volunteers are needed!

We have several opportunities that you may assist in our programs! Help is needed as Greeters, Readers, Children's Sermon, Children's Sunday School and Collecting the Offerings.  Each of these areas  will give you the opportunity to be a part of our church family..

If you would like to help, there is a signup list on the wall in the narthex. or you may speak with Ann Burruss for more information on specific opportunities.

Food Closet Donations...

The Evening Ladies Group sponsors this outreach program with Union Baptist Church to provide food assistance to the people of Gloucester County.

The Food Closet is open every Monday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the building to the rear of the church parking lot.

    Organizational Meetings....

Our Session will meet on Wednesday Oct. 11th. at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall after the "Monthly Wednesday Together". 

 

If you have any concerns, questions or issues that you feel need to be brought to the Session, you may pass them to any of our Elders and they will see that it gets to the responsible Elder  and attention of the Session.
